These seats are made from high quality PU leatherette though not considered 100% water proof, have no problem with typical use in a normal Slingshot environment. Prolonged unprotected storage outdoors is not recommended. The seats are very lightweight and use a tubular steel frame and high density molded foam for a comfortable fit
